Tutoring Policies & Terms of Service
Securities Licensing Exam Prep — SIE, Series 7, Series 65, Series 63
These policies apply to all tutoring sessions, packages, and materials purchased. By booking a session or purchasing a package, the client agrees to the terms below.
1. Payment
Payment is due in full at the time of booking unless a payment plan has been agreed to in writing in advance.
Accepted payment methods: [Venmo / Zelle / credit card / etc. — fill in].
Packages must be paid in full upfront; per-session installment billing is not offered on multi-session packages.
2. Sales Are Final / Refund Policy
All sales are final. No refunds will be issued once a session or package has been purchased.
Unused sessions in a package may be applied toward rescheduled sessions (see Section 4) but are not eligible for cash refunds or credit toward other services.
Exception: if I am unable to deliver a scheduled session due to my own unavailability and no reasonable makeup time can be arranged, a prorated refund or credit will be issued at my discretion.
3. Session Packages & Expiration
Multi-session packages must be used within [60/90/120] days of purchase. Sessions not used within this window are forfeited.
Package sessions are non-transferable to another individual.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellations or reschedule requests require at least 24 hours' notice.
Cancellations with 24+ hours' notice: session may be rescheduled at no charge, subject to availability.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, or no-shows: the session is forfeited and billed/counted as used — no refund or makeup.
I reserve the right to reschedule a session with as much notice as possible in the event of an emergency; in that case, a makeup session will be offered at no charge.
5. Punctuality
Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time. Late arrival by the client shortens the session — it does not extend into the next booked slot.
If I am late, the session will run the full paid duration or the client will receive credit for the missed time.
6. No Guarantee of Exam Results
Tutoring is designed to improve understanding and exam readiness, but I cannot and do not guarantee a passing score on the SIE, Series 7, Series 65, Series 82, or any other exam.
Outcomes depend on the client's own study time, effort, and preparation outside of sessions.
7. Materials & Intellectual Property
All study materials, practice questions, slides, notes, and frameworks provided are for the client's personal use only.
Materials may not be copied, redistributed, resold, or shared with third parties, including other exam candidates, without written permission.
Materials remain my intellectual property even after the engagement ends.
8. Confidentiality
Any personal, academic, or employment information shared during sessions will be kept confidential and used only to tailor the tutoring experience.
9. Communication Between Sessions
Brief clarifying questions between sessions (e.g., via text or email) are welcome at no charge.
Extended between-session support (e.g., reviewing practice exams, detailed written explanations) may be billed at a prorated hourly rate if it exceeds a reasonable scope.
10. Conduct
Sessions are expected to be professional and focused on exam preparation. I reserve the right to end a session early or decline future bookings in cases of disrespectful conduct, without refund.
11. Recording of Sessions
Sessions may not be recorded (audio or video) without prior written consent from me.
12. Changes to These Policies
These policies may be updated periodically. The version in effect at the time of booking governs that engagement.
